Our Vision & Beliefs

Immigrant Legal Services helps disadvantaged individuals and families navigate the complex immigration system through high quality and affordable legal representation. We are an organization not motivated by profit but with a goal to provide immigrants access to legal help regardless of their ability to pay or the complexity of their case. Our staff believes deeply in the values our nation was built upon. That we are an immigrant nation, a true melting pot. America is a collection of nationalities and ethnicities. All of us are from immigrant families, unless our family history is of Native American descent. And, most of our immigrant families came to this nation without green cards or visas and many didn’t speak English. But they helped build this wonderful nation despite facing deep hostility, racism and threats. They are a significant part of what ties this rich and diverse fabric of our nation and makes us the country that so many see as their beacon of hope.
